Tiny is a sweet turtle that we have adopted into our home. He is very cute and loves to be in the middle of things. Mick absolutely loves to watch Tiny swim around and is always keeping tabs on his little turtle friend.
Tiny was born sometime in June of 2008 just west of Ignace at Raleigh falls. When we discovered Tiny he was all alone and barely the size of a loonie, traveling onto the highway. We brought him home to Thunder Bay and gave him a home. He has an avid appetite in the summer and loves to investigate the back yard.
During the winter he practically stops eating and goes into his hibernation mode which keeps him pretty inactive. Tiny will get his spurts of energy here, which gets Mick very interested in what he is up to.
Tiny spent his first 2 years with us in a 10 Gallon tank, we have now upgraded him to a 20 Gallon tank and have discovered that he loves the extra space and has a new surge of energy.
Looks like he likes the new and improved home!
